We flew the Eagles Nest this morning for just a short distance along the coast to Sidi Ifni, or in Berber, ⵉⴼⵏⵉ or Arabic: سيدي إفني .
Sidi Ifni is a city with its main income coming from fishing. It does seem to have its fair share of surf shops, and I wouldn’t mind betting this is a more recent thing.
We have parked up at one of the few large campsites in the city close to the beach. There are lots of French; in fact they appear to dominate the van world here. Will probably stay for a couple of nights. The weather has been great, but the weekend looks a bit changeable, with some rain forecast.
This is as far south as we came last time, although we never stopped here.
Tomorrow we will explore the City more and buy some of the fresh-caught fish.
