Fish Market

We didn’t really notice it that much but Nigeria v Morocco last night ended up in a penalty shoot off in the Africa cup of nations, where Morocco scored 4-2.

This meant a late night eruption of car horns and god knows what, but it was noisy. We’re a guest in their country, and certainly pleased for them, and the disruption to our sleep was minimal.
It gets light late and warms up late so we are always slow to get going but thats fine and we’re in no rush to get anywhere, or do anything in a hurry.
We walked up the hill and into the fish market where we bought a lovely looking fish for dinner and a squid for the following day. The fish market is an interesting affair with men dragging in these massive fish and the most unusual fish on slabs waiting to be bought.
Our chosen fish scaled and gutted we left and stopped off for a coffee and sat in the sun watching the world go by.
We made our way back and on the way stopped off to get some fruit and veg. Where ever you go the markets sell the best produce.
Our afternoon was spent sittingbin the sun until late afternoon when our fish we had bought earlier ended up being cooked outsidevon the Cadac.
As the sun was settling over the vans around us we took a stroll along the promanade.
Will probably stay another night just to enjoy the warm sunshine.
