Aldeburgh and the surrounding area was just down the road in travelling terms and what a great find courtesy of our van friends who are regular visitors of this area and who we spent the Easter weekend with here.
Arrived on the Thursday, Friday short walk along the beach front into Aldeborough with Alison and Shaun. Lovely little seaside town. Bought a very expensive beer and some sausages. Saturday, Drove to Snape Maltings with Alison and Amanda in the passenger seats. Shaun and Stephen rode in on their electric bikes. And Sunday, Walked into Thorpness with Alison and Shaun along a wet and windy stony beach. Had brunch at a café then up to the House in the sky, and old water tower renovated into a house. Walked back through the woods for a circular route.
A good weekend.
