Off to North Yorkshire, SAP Automotive just outside Doncaster to have rear air suspension fitted. This should improve our ride and, more importantly, enable us to up-plate the van to increase our payload.
Staying overnight at a place we have stayed at before, Blue Lagoon, a stopover in a diving and water sports centre. Basic place by the lake with drinking water and it’s a quiet spot close by to SAP for an early start in the morning.
Got up early, had a quick breakfast then went to drive out, we had a code for the large sliding gates. Entered the code but nothing happened. Tried several times but still nothing so phoned the lady that lives on the site, no answer. Decided to drive down to the house, where she was, as its a fair way. She said she would open it but by the time we drove back it still wasn’t open. She then drove up and still no luck until after several goes it opened …phew, thought we might be stuck there.
Off to SAP Doncaster we drove.
