A noticable drop in temperature this morning but dry and some sun. We packed up and drove across the road to where there was a fire hydrant with a water connector and filled the water tank before we set off.
A short drive today of 40 odd miles that took us across the upper section of what is known as the Sky Road which loops around a small peninsula with views down onto the bay. A panoramic road that eventually ends in the town of Clifton but we took a tiny narrow road off for about a mile which took us to Eyeephort Beach. Golden sands and clear waters with a view over to the small islands just a short distance away. We seem to be the only ones here apart from the occasional car turning up with couples taking a brief walk on the beach.
We plan to stay here for tonight, have a bbq. Weather forecast for tomorrow is for heavy rain 🌧
