I’m not sure it was because of a bit of a breeze this morning, but it was nominated wash day.
So while Jo did the washing, I cleaned the fridge, swept upstairs and down, hoovered and did a few other bits and bobs.
The rest of the day was spent around camp. Chatting with longer-term residents and having a welcome chat with some of the new arrivals.
One in particular, a Belgium guy with a dog, who had made an excellent job of converting a LWB Sprinter. We both had tours of each others vans.
Jo went to see the camel caravan leave as they do every evening, but tonight we heard there were 140 leaving, each with someone in the saddle.
Dinner was half a chicken cooked outside on the Cadac, with cous cous and veg. Again, we ate outside as we seem to every evening. With the backdrop of the orange dunes of the Sahara.
This is our sixth night here, and we are finding it difficult to pull ourselves away from the place.
