This morning we walked into town after breakfast to get some eggs and figs. We were going to extend our phone for another month, but there doesn’t seem to be any Inwi agencies in this area. We’re ok for the rest of the week.
We did pick up a larger tagine, as the one we brought from our previous Morocco trip was on the small side.
I managed to call my Mum, for the first time in ages, using an app that made it possible to call a landline in the UK. Half an hour for just under £1. The best bit was when she said, “John who?” when she answered.
Dinner was cooked outside on our new, larger tagine, and was one of the best we have had. Joined by the Belgium neighbours dog, who sat under the table with us.
We have decided this was our last day here, and tomorrow we will be moving on. Not far to the lake on the outskirts of Merzouga, Lake Dayet Srij,. Maybe stay there for a night.
