Camp Curry Night

Our last day here at Ferme Noemie, and the forcast was for severe thunderstorms. We had a lightening display in the early hours this morning but it seemed to dry up by the time we woke.

We decided to drive into Bourg-d’Oisans, and do a bit of shopping. Other than that, what with the weather and it being our last day, we had opted for a relaxing day.

We drove in two vans to the Intermarche in Bourg, refuelled and then parked up to shop. The weather at that time was actually warm and fairly sunny.

Shop done and we all drove back and sat outside. Jo was making a curry for us all for our evening meal.

The rain cloud came in covering the mountains and the rain started. All six of us gathered around the wooden tables in the covered area and we devoured what turned out to be one of the best of Jo’s currys.

Jeremy, Melanie’s (owners) husband joined us for after dinner beverages and enlightened us on life there.

The weather has really turned, with lots of thunder, lightening and pouring with rain. It’s forecast to be a lively night and into the morning. Glad we’re not in a tent.
