Storm Ashley bashed us about, keeping us awake on and off until it eased around 3am.
The covid saga continued this morning when I took a test which was positive. Not feeling too bad just heady and nasal but Jo’s almost back to normal.
Jo cooked breakfast of bacon and eggs, mug of tea before departing our home here at the fort, setting off north towards Cork and on to Dungervan. Another coastal town with a harbour, we plan to stay 2 nights at motorhome facility in the sports centre. Not the most attractive place we have stayed at but has water and waste disposal, an excellent idea with top marks to the local authority.
Its blowing an absolute gale and we’re parked up on an exposed bit by the water so we will stay in the van and explore the town tomorrow when hopefully it has calmed down.
