We left our aire at Roanne Port fairly early this morning, as we had a longer driving day ahead of us.
The weather was already warm and sunny, so it was shaping up to be another lovely day in France.
Our destination was Camping Le Moulin Fort, beautifully situated on the banks of the River Cher and just a short distance from the stunning Château de Chenonceau.
After a good few hours on the road, we arrived and settled into our new base beside the river. It’s a lovely spot where we can explore more tomorrow.
This is also a big hot-air ballooning area. We’d only been here a short while and we have seen four balloons in the sky and even watched one of them taking off nearby.
