Today we left Aix-les-Bains and headed towards Bourg-d’Oisans, travelling through Grenoble and deeper into the French Alps.
We stopped at the huge Intermarché near Grenoble to stock up on supplies. It had everything we needed—and quite a lot we didn’t—but no journey through France is complete without a wander around a massive supermarket!
Somewhere along the route, we managed to lose Steven and Amanda for a while. Thankfully, they eventually caught us up and we were all reunited before continuing towards Bourg-d’Oisans.
The scenery became more dramatic as we travelled on, with towering mountains surrounding us and that familiar Alpine landscape opening up ahead. Eventually, we arrived at our old haunt, Ferme Noémie.
It felt great to be back somewhere we already knew and loved. After getting settled in, it was time to relax, enjoy the surroundings and look forward to the next part of our adventure.
