Last night was our coldest yet, with temperatures dropping to 3 degrees Celsius, but we stayed warm inside the van. Sleep wasn’t ideal, as heavy rain pounded on the roof and strong gusts of wind occasionally rocked the van.
We had a slow start to the day, likely because it stayed dark until late. I took a morning walk into town, visiting the impressive church in the square before returning for breakfast.
After emptying our waste, we set off. Our destination was Seville, or more precisely, an Aire just outside the city called Área Castilleja de Guzman.
We covered 325 miles, reaching a maximum altitude of 1200 meters, which brought us into some light snow. We also saw several snow ploughs on the road clearing a fair amount of snow.
Now, we’re parked with a view over Seville.
Tomorrow is shopping day, followed by a trip down to the coast to spend Christmas there.
