This is it, we’re off. Left mums this morning after three nights stay and made our way to the port of Newhaven for the 7am ferry to Dieppe in the morning. Parked up in the ferry terminal car park. Dinned in the KFC next door. TV tuned in all ready to watch strictly final.
Last minute panics though. Woke up and realised we didn’t have an international driving permit for Morroco! Swiftly made it down to the New Milton post office to get photo done and obtain IDP. Then, sitting here in our spot for the night I was looking at the ferry tickets. Noticed I had put the wrong reg down when booking (23 instead of 22). A quick dash up to ticket office to explain, and it was no problem. They will change it when we check in in the morning.
