We are aware that our clothing policy on the scooter may not be up to scratch, with the wearing of T shirts and shorts but we always wear the obligatory helmet of course. Todays scooter journey we decide to take the other side of the lake around to Annecy town. Almost there and we got pulled over for lack of gloves. Apparently new requirement so the Gendarme kindly sent us back where we came from. Back to the van to get gloves, returning to Annecy this time the via he east side.
