A trip up to Mont st Michel, via bike, bus or on foot. Whatever takes your fancy. For us it was a walk and bus in, and walk back.
The weather was much better than the forcast, hot and sunny, and we all made our way to the entrance of Mont St Michel. A rather impressive rocky, tidal, medieval island on the mouth of the river Couesnon.
We came here in 2022, and thought it would be a great place for a stop this trip with the others.
It was busy as always and very touristy but worth a visit. We even visited it on our bikes in the evening as the sun went down, which was the most spectacular.
