2 Nights
We said goodbye to Moulin Fort this morning with another decent drive ahead of us as we continued our journey north through France.
Our next stop was the little town of Beauvoir, perhaps best known for Alligator Bay, but more importantly for us, perfectly placed for a visit to Mont-Saint-Michel. There’s a cycle path running from here pretty much all the way to the Mont, weather permitting, that’s what we’ll do.
It’s a very popular area and we were heading for a huge aire with space for around 180 motorhomes. Even with that many pitches, we wondered how busy it might be.
Thankfully, we managed to get all three vans parked up together, got ourselves settled in and then decided to take the bikes out for a quick recce of tomorrow’s route.
It wasn’t long before we got our first glimpse of Mont-Saint-Michel in the distance — a little preview for tomorrow.
Back at the vans, bikes away and plans made, we’re all set for a proper visit in the morning.
