Slightly different take on our trip this time, as we are travelling with two other couples in thier vans. Alison & Shaun, Amanda & Steven.
Tonights stop, is not far from the port of Dover. We have used this several times before, a basic field with minimal services.
Very hot and rather busy drive down. We were the first to arrive, followed by Alison & Shaun, then Amanda & Steven.
Tomorrows ferry from Dover to Calais is 10.15, so a reasonable starting time but a decent drive into France, through Belgium and into French Ardennes for our first stop.
