1 Night
All the campers were up and ready to depart for 07.30. A sunny and warm morning as we made our way out of Newsole Cottage.
A 10 minute drive and we’re arrived at the port entrance. Fairly busy, but well organised, so we’re through customs pretty quickly and checked in, then around to our lane before boarding.
The crossing was dead smooth, and everyone was out on the decks enjoying a breeze in the sun. I think we even left a bit early and 90mins we were docking in Calais.
All three vans off, and we managed to keep together. We do each have walkie talkies, which asside from the novelty value and joking around, can be usefull to keep in touch.
Today was a long and hot day, but we eventually made our lovely stop for the night in the Ardenne at Haybes by the river Meuse. Finding spaces for three vans is a tad more challenging, but we just squeezed us all in.
Will sleep well tonight.
