The slot by the pier in Bangor was great and a quiet one but we were parked at such an angle that the shower wouldn’t drain too well.
An improvised draining system and we soon sorted things, had breakfast and were on our way. And just to recap on the weather …it’s still raining.
Our drive today was a mere 7.5 miles to a layby style parking in the town of Abergwyngregyn, to walk up to Aber Falls. The waterfall is formed as the Afon Goch plunges about 120 feet over the rocks above and runs by were we parked and finishes up in the Menai Straights that we overlooked yesterday.
A fairly impressive waterfall by all standards, not surprising though with the amount of rain we have seen.
The rain pretty much held off for the walk though, but it’s made up for it since.
We had our basic fasting day soup and decided to stay put for the night. Carried out a few jobs around the van like moving the clothes rail back, although we failed as I didn’t have any drill bits 🤷♂️
