Woke up to the sound of a woodpecker and made the morning tea. Went for the morning walk and didn’t get that far as the British guy parked oposite was outside his van, who I had helped with is EHU yesterday. I asked him if it had been ok and then his wife came out and we chatted. This went on for some time, exchanging travel stories, until Jo came out and we chatted even more.
We left in glorious sunshine for our next stop in the town of Nozay, just north if Nantes. Quiet stopover apart from the road noise from the motorway in the distance but ok for 1 night. We had lunch and took a walk around the lake then sat in the sun outside the van until it got cold.
Tomorrow is our last night of our grand winter tour. We should be just a few miles from Cherbourg where we get the ferry to Portsmouth on Tuesday.
