We departed a wet and windy Zambujeira this morning for the historic town of Evora with its old town centre enclosed by medieval walls.
Gorgeous drive, all non toll road through several towns and across beautiful countryside. The weather was mostly sunny as we drove, with a few showers, but at one point the sky went dark grey, the heavens opened and the wind blew us about on the road.
Our stop over for two nights is just outside the medieval walls in a free autocaravanas parking spot.
Tomorrow we will walk into the old town and hope to visit the Chapel of Bones 😉
