We had pancakes for breakfast, left outside on our table by the campsite. Warmed them up on the Cadac which is running desperately low on gas and covered them in honey with a cup of tea, gorgeous.

Our Norfolk neighbours were off on a 4×4  tour deeper into the desert for a couple of nights so we had a brief chat with them and the young Belgium girl, bikepacking on her own, who is staying here.

We took a walk into the next village and wandered off the main road into the side alley ways where people live. We got accosted a couple of times by young children asking for sweets, then pens then money.

Then back to the main road to the other side along a track and came across an area with about 15 camels in a walled enclosure then walked back across the sand dunes back to the camp where we sat in the sun drinking mint tea and very sweet Moroccan cakes
