Heavy rain last night but by the time we were up it was dry and the sun was shining.

Late morning we went for a walk up into the mountains and down to the local village of Güéjar Sierra. We strolled around the streets of this very hilly town wondering how the more elderly residents managed it. Back at the campsite in time for lunch and we thought we would give the campsite restaurant a go as it has a lovely terrace area outside with tables. As it turned out we couln’t eat lunch outside for a reason we’re not too sure about but something to do with it being winter.  Anyway the waitress said she would bring us some tapas to go with the beer and wine we ordered. All of this came to a very reasonable £4.60. By the time we drank the beer and wine we decided to go in and have lunch. It was hot in the sun outside but they still had a log fire going inside.
