Our annual family gathering of campers began in 2018 and here we are again four years on.
We left home early to avoid the road closures due to the Prudential Ride 100 in Essex. That meant pulling over by the side of the road near Baldock about 6 miles short of our destination. After a cuppa and roll we were back off the last 6 miles to the site. Very well organised reception but having said that they did show us to the wrong pitch in the wrong field so we have to move but luckily we hadn’t set up the awning.
Moved to the correct spot and awning all set up and we were having a beer and G&T in the sun. The rest of the crew arrived around 5/6 ish.
