Jo had been saying about having a go at paddle boarding for some time. Next door to the site was a place that hired out paddle boards and the weather was hot and sunny, so what better time to give it a go.
We hired one board for two hours between us, and of Jo went into the glorious lake Annecy on her paddle board. A few wobble and a splash and she was in the lake. This never did look easy and it wasn’t as I also proved with a wobble and falling down to my knees on the board. We didn’t last the two hours and an hour was enough for us.
