The lightning and thunder must have scarred the rest of the campers off as when we woke, the site had cleared out. Might have also had something to do with the fact they had seen what they came for. Our American neighbours, Karen, Stuart and their lad Zac, where still here also preparing for the off.
The rest of the day was spent leisurely doing some washing ..I need more pants and preparing our bodies for the epic climb up Col du Sabot.
