Jungfraujoch

We got up at six to beat the Chinese, and we only just made it. Although I forgot the rolls Jo made us as packed lunch the night before so we bought a couple in the station spa shop. We stood at Interlaken East train station as the sun began to warm up. You go fron Interlaken East to Lauterbrunnen where you change trains to get to Kleine Scheidegg,  you then take the Jungfrau train through the Eiger up to Jungfraujoch.  Couple of stops on the way up where you can look through windows in the north face of the Eiger. This is one pretty fantastic train ride.

The summit is the Sphinx observation tower, like something out of a James Bond set. Looking down on snow and the Aletsch Glacier. Amazing sight, especially on such a clear sunny day as we had.

Tommorow we head for home.
