Dunkirk to Bourg D'Oisans

As it turned out nothing came of the prawns but everything came of the vote and we are now out the EU.  Results of the historical vote announced as we waited to board the 6am DFDS to Dunkirk.

They still let us in though and 580 miles later we arrived behind enemy lines.  580 miles in one day was always going to be a long old slog but this turned out rather a longer day than I anticipated driving at motorhome speeds.  Our little Sanef tag that worked lovely in the car at each toll barrier was a tad more reluctant in the motorhome.  Jo frantically waving it across the windscreen in a attempt to get it to beep.  Then at one point I lost my mind and thought we were in a car and was heading for the 2 meter barrier (we are 2.9m).  Evasive manoeuvring was required by driving across all lanes at 90 degrees to the flow of traffic in an attempt to reach a lane with no height restriction.
Other than that a great drive on great French roads arriving at Ferme Noemie at 9pm rather shattered.
