It was so nice to wake up to a sunny morning after yesterday’s continual downpour, with the sun glistening across the med.

My morning stroll took me up the hill to the Castillo Sohail, a castle built during the 10th century by the Moors.  Not much to it, but it was free entry and from the top, you get a great view all around.

After breakfast, we made our way along the coastal road, through Fuengirola, Torremolinos and around Malaga. This coastal part of Spain is busy but rather smart, well-kept and attractive.

Our destination for today was the coastal village of Castell de Ferro, at a small camping area.  We were desperate for water, and this was a great little spot to fill our tanks and sit around for a couple of nights.
