The Africa Cup of Nations final with Senegal vs Morocco, did not end well for Morocco, so it was not the noisy night we had the other night with the semi-finals.
Still blowing a gale, we popped out of our site, into town to have a nose around and get some veg. El Ouatia town is also home to the Port of Tan Tan, a key fishing port in south-west Morocco, processing large amounts of fish, although we didn’t see much in the way of fish for sale.
Despite the wind, the sun was shining, and it was warm. We sat outside had homemade mint tea with an orange. Yes, it’s our fast day again.
Jo did the washing while and contributed by putting up a make-shift washing line, from the wall behind us to our rear ladder. With the wind and sand, I reckon that they will be sandblasted clean, sandblasted pants, there’s a thing.
The rest of the day was spent semi-relaxing, sitting and getting up to do the odd job as it comes into your head. Some planning of the route further south, logistics of where we can get water, stay the night etc.
Tomorrow, we move on in search of Flamingos.
