1 Night
Our meal last night was delicious and we ended the night chatting with some fishermen in the lounge.
We had a very peaceful night and after our indulgence the night before we opted for our usual wheatabix/granola and yogurt. As we have only travelled short distances and we started our road trip with an additional battery uncharged, we need to plug into some electric today to fully charge. We found an Aire in Fairbourne with the usual facilities with electric so took the short journey here.
The weather is dry and mild so we took a walk along the beach which runs adjacent with a steam railway. We had planned on walking to the end of the beach, catching a ferry over to Barmouth, but the ferry only runs during the summer.
We stopped at a self serve cafe and had a coffee, took some photos of Barmouth Bridge, then made our way back. We popped into the local shop to buy postcards, then back to the van for lunch.
A quiet afternoon reading whilst listening to the rain on the roof. Only a short downpour today. Later we are planning on cooking in the Cadac outside 🤞
