And we’re off — destination Wales, the land of song and dragons! We’ll be starting in the south and making our way up to the north.
Our last proper trip in our old van, Dylan, was in early April, so it’s quite exciting to be setting off again.
Before we get into all that, we’ve stopped for the night at Offgrid Power Solutions, just outside Wantage, for an early start, to have a few enhancements carried out tomorrow.
We’re adding an extra 330Ah battery and a Sollatek voltage protector. The new battery will make us even more self-sufficient, and the AVS30 will protect the van from the voltage fluctuations you sometimes get in certain countries. Not that we plan to use EHU (electric hook-up) very often — but it’s good to have the safeguard just in case.
Tomorrow will be a day of hanging around or perhaps a walk in the Oxfordshire countryside 😁
