Moncarapacho e Fuseta

We walked into the town of Moncarapacho this morning. Bought a couple of postcards, strolled around the town and had coffee and a pasteis de nata, custard tart like thing, at a little cafe. The weather is being a bit on and off and its windy. The sun comes out and its warm but clouds over with a light shower of rain.

I thought Spanish was difficult but Portugese is even more challenging. With the added help of Google translate as I waved it in front of the lady in the cafe, she still didn’t understand.

We went into the Intermarche, a largish supermarket and got some food bits before heading back for lunch. We’re still cooking on the “Moroccan bbq” and its been great. The gas jet blocks up every now and again but a pin soon clears it out.

The sun is still in and out with the odd shower so we retreated to the inside of the van. Thank god it’s Friday 😎.
