2 Nights
A little recap on our stats, 1850 miles covered in 5 weeks we have now been in Morocco. We left the municiple site in Midelt for Fes. This turned out to be a much more scenic drive than anticipted. We drove to and altitude of around 2000m and stayed there for the best part of the journey. The scenery changed from the usual sand and rocks to pine trees and green landscape. Several Berber huts with goats and sheep. We even came across a pack of monkeys by the side of the road. This was a magnificent route.
We arrived on the outskirts of Fes where we will stay for a couple of nights as we plan to visit the city tomorrow. We struggled to find the entrance of Diamant Vert, a campsite in a wooded area below some holiday apartments.
We gave booked a taxi to take us into Fes in the morning.
