We left our luxury marina side residence this morning and “set sail” for the more humble morings of a Carrefour car park. Before that though we stopped off at the famous Carlos to get our ferry tickets to the Moroccan port of Tanger Med. His little office is on a corner building of what looks like an industrial estate. There was a bit of a queue with 4 or 5 couples in front of us but we’d soon done the deal and left with our return open tickets and a complimentary bottle of wine and a cake.
From there we made our way round to the car park and walked into the Carrefour to get some final supplies before leaving the comfort of European shores (even though we are no longer part if the EU club).
It’s 18.30 here now and the car park is full of vans of all types and sizes.
