Municipal Veulettes Sur Mer ***
My regular trip to the boulangerie to get two baguettes traditional and breakfast before we departed further north. I had pondered on whether to go through/stay the next night in Rouen but the thought of another busy city and risk of low tunnels made me look else where. So crossing the Seine at the Pont de Brotonne Bridge, we headed for the coast, to Vuelettes Sur Mer. A pleasant seaside place with a stoney beach and no amusement arcades. We also noticed there was no English. After the initial “Complete” sign at the entrance to this municipal site Jo negotiated a spot after 2pm so a short wait including lunch just outside the site and we was in. We would stay here and chill for the next three nights.
