We left Mum and Dads late morning after an egg on toast breakfast to go to Hollands Wood camping in the New Forrest. Our home for three nights while we further explore the delights of the area.  Usually we stay at Setthorns but for a change we thought we would try Hollands Wood and great choice it was.  Packed on arrival with the end of the school holiday makers there, soon emptied out after the Sunday though.

After a quick setup we went back to Mum and dads to go to Hurst Castle, a an artillery fort established by Henry VIII on the Hurst Spit just beyond Milford on Sea.  We walked out along the spit to the castle and came back to Keyhaven on the little ferry.
