We set off in the Tango afte a hearty breakfast consisting of bacon and egg sandwich. Destination the Angel Inn, Nayland. Bit of an obstacle course but great journey along this stretch of river. Two weirs and a tree down but easily enough navigated around by hauling the Tango out the water and the designated portages. This route takes you past some very nice houses with back gardens leading down to the river. And of course up to the Anchor Inn with it’s own jetty but we decided not to stop over this time.
