1 Night
Our normal routine, after tea in bed, is I have a shower and then go for a walk while Jo showers. I think of it as a morning walk with the dog, although we haven’t got a dog.
The walk this morning was outside our stopover and across an empty retail park car park, wet from the heavy rain last night. Past Decathlon, El Campo, not yet open, I could see the cleaners through the glass windows cleaning the floor. My thoughts pondering our time away.
Our drive today took us to just north of Bordeaux to the town of Saint-Genis-de-Saintonge, an aire where we spent the night of the 18th December (day 3) on our way down.
Parked up in this quiet little spot just before the rain started, and had lunch. A short walk to the small Carrefour later when it stopped raining.
Tomorrow we head for somewhere near Rennes for the night.
