Actually it is Ribblehead to Carlisle but I like the sound of Settle to Carlisle and the line actually goes from Leeds to Carlisle. This is a great train journey across the Yorkshire Dales. The city of Carlisle seems run down with lots of closed shops. Plenty of charity shops though which pleases Jo.
Had our evening meal back in The Railway Inn. Sausage & mash this time. Much busier than yesterday in the car park full of vans and in the pub, probably as it was Friday.
