We left Castle Howard with a few spots of rain on the windscreen. This turned into a journey of full on rain. Our route took us over the Humber Bridge and down into Lincolnshire where we arrived at the most immaculately presented CL. The weather had also improved and the sun was out and was warm. After a cupa we went for a short walk around.
Wednesday, 27th September
A bit overcast but not a bad day so we set off for a bike ride, exploring the beautiful Lancashire Wolds. This really is a nice area. Quiet country lanes, a few hilly bits and it kept dry. Back in time for lunch.
