This morning, we said our goodbyes to Ali the Nomad and set off for the dunes of the Sahara.
Just a short 55 miles of driving before arriving at an auberge with a campsite right at the edge of Erg Chebbi sand dune, and parked up under the palm trees. It seems a great place with only three other vans here, one English.
We took a walk into the town to buy some veg and a chicken. Enquired about hiring a quad bike or dune buggy, then back for the afternoon.
Might stay here a few nights.
