It was a cold night last night and we were suffering some joint aches from our climb yesterday, but we slept well.
Priscilla’s heating wasn’t on, and the cold made it difficult to get out of bed so I watched the sun come over the mountain, and as soon as it does, it immediately warms the place up.
There was little life out there, from the rest of the residents, so I guess everyone does the same. Unless you have a dog, thank god we don’t.
After breakfast we walked into town to get cash and visit the small supermarket for a few supplies. Then stopped off at the man selling eggs, where we bought a dozen.
It seems to have emptied out a bit but there is a constant movement of people coming and going.
We had lunch outside as it was warm, but the chilly wind came in bursts which increased to the point we retreated indoors.
Not before we had two visits from young lads selling crepes and macaroons. It’s a fasting day for us but we made purchases ready for tomorrow😋
We will have been here six nights tonight, our longest stay anywhere, just as we intended, after our previous visit to Morocco.
Tomorrow we will move on to the valley of Ait Monsour.
