After breakfast we made our way off in the van to visit the National Memorial Arboretum. 150-acre visitor site on the edge of the National Forest in Staffordshire. After a morning walking around the moving but impressive memorials we had lunch in the cafe.
We then made our way the short distance to Lichfield. Parked up in hand carpark just on the edge of town for a mere 50p. Walked up to the mighty impressive Cathedral with the added bonus of an exhibision by artist Luke Jerram and his floating earth Gaia.
Then back to base via a Morrisons for some steaks to shove on the Cadac.
