A wet start to the day and it didn’t let up much. We walked up past the Ladybower Inn and up …and up. The views over the reservoir were great but it soon became so misty we couldn’t see far ahead off us. Climbing up to Black Tor and along Derwent Edge. I managed to slip over then down to the amazing Derwent Dam where we stopped off for soup then continued along the edge of the reservoir back. We popped into the Inn for so chips and a beer but they had stopped serving so two pints, wine and crisps it was. Then back to the van (still raining) for Jo’s chicken curry.
