We left Loch Ness Shores just before 9am on our quest to find the monster. And boy did we. A chilly starts took us out up the east side of the loch towards Inverness. This is a real nice ride as the roads are quiet and the scenery fabulous. The same cannot be said for the west side, A82, which is frequented by head on, fist waving truckers. This part was not a nice ride. Then you hit the road out of Fort Augustus that goes straight up at 14% climb into the hail and rain. A gorgeous view when you get to the summit and a ride all(most) all downhill, back to Foyers.
