There’s something about going just down the road that’s more of an adventure than going further afield. Golden Grove in Great Saling is about fifteen minutes from where Florence lives in Braintree. Once here you could be miles from home in the middle of the countryside. This is our first visit and so far very impessed. Tomorrow we’re planning a cycle ride up to Finchingfield.
